Wild Oats Sweater is knit top-down with back increases, then the front is picked up and shaped with increases. Sleeves are picked up and shaped using short rows, and increases create a slightly more narrow fit around the wrist. Finally, the neckline is picked up and knitted in twisted rib, before folded double and st are knit together with the picked up st.

The pattern consists of small cables that can be knitted with or without the use of a cable needle.
